I was never one of those girls who dreaded doing my makeup every day. I like to think of that time as pampering time, and it’s a fun way for me to express creativity — especially considering that I can’t draw on paper (unless you count stick figures). Typically, I take about 30 minutes to apply my makeup, but when we spent four days hiking in southern Utah a couple weeks ago, I had to pare down my typical routine.
First, I applied Vichy ProEven Mineral BB Cream in lieu of foundation (ladies with fair skin, this stuff is magic), then used NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer to cover blemishes and my under-eye circles. I set it all with Coty Airspun powder. Of course, my go-to palette, Stila Not so Nude, served as both my eye makeup, blush and highlighter. Then I finished my look off with Lancome’s Le Crayon Kohl pencil (the best!) and Sephora’s Upside Down Mascara. Easy and only takes 10 minutes!
