Hi.

I'm Caitlin Wilson, a twenty-something midwesterner with a penchant for neutrals, donuts, and makeup. Thanks for reading!

Daily: A Fitting End

Done! Finished! The end! I have crossed the finish line. If this had been a race, it would have been a marathon. Just kidding. If it were a race, it would have been a mini marathon. Kendi’s 30 for 30 challenge (twice as long, for those of you [like me] who are math-challenged) would be considered a marathon. Either way, I’m proud of myself and of the result. Here’s the breakdown:

Camisole: Gap
Chambray Button-Up: Garage sale
Shorts: Gap
Tights: Kohl’s
Flats: Old Navy
Headband: Handmade
Ring: Banana Republic

I dub this look “menswear plus hippie.” I’ve always been a fan of menswear, and this look captures it with the tweed shorts and the tucked-in blouse. All I need are my oxfords, and it’d be perfect. My mom knitted the headband for me after I saw one online at JCrew. We both figured knitting one would be way cheaper than buying one, which it was. It’s perfectly warm for my ears!

Happy New Year’s! Hope everyone’s holiday weekend was wonderful and safe. Don’t watch too many football games today - it’s bad for you. Be sure to check back tomorrow for my review of my 15 for 15 challenge!
