Vogue recently sent some Aveda Damage Remedy products my way, and I eagerly tried them. My cousin has worked at an Aveda salon in Florida for a few years, and she is always raving about the products.
I received a sample Damage Remedy Kit, which included the shampoo, conditioner and hair repair (similar kit here). After using these for a few weeks, my hair feels much healthier. I blow-dry my hair with a diffuser after every shower, as well as straighten my bangs. The constant heat on my hair really wears it down, but I love the way it has been feeling lately because of these products. The only downside? I’m not much of a flower/herb-smell person, so the smell of these products might turn you off if you’re like me.
If the kit is too pricey, I’d suggest the daily hair repair. All Aveda Damage Repair products are 97 percent naturally derived and repair damaged hair by at least 26 percent.
