I will admit that I am fearful of capris. You know - they’re the pants/shorts that hit you at the most awkward part of your leg, somewhere between your calf and your knee. Granted, I do own a pair or two, but they’re back from my high school days. Needless to say, I try not to wear them a lot. Here’s the breakdown:
Blazer: Forever 21
Blouse: Goodwill (J.Crew)
Cropped Trousers: Gap
Heels: DSW (Calvin Klein)
Bag: Garage sale
These pants are not capris; they’re cropped. I will also admit that while I liked the look of cropped trousers and jeans, I was a little afraid that they’d be like capris. Surprisingly, the hem doesn’t hit at an awkward part of the leg, and they’re the perfect length for showing off some great shoes! Both my trousers and my shoes were recent finds; the trousers were $11 at Gap, and the heels were $23 at DSW. I was way too excited to keep them in my closet for long, which is why I wore them the first chance I got. What’s that saying? Can’t keep some good clothes down?
Oh … can’t keep a good man down. Close enough.
