Apparently we’re supposed to get snow today. Is that music to my ears, or what? Once all of the leaves fall off the trees, which seems to have happened way too quickly, I always find myself longing for snow. I love dressing in warm sweaters and sitting by a window with a hot drink and book, just watching the snow lazily drift down from the sky. Here’s the breakdown:
Turtleneck: TJ Maxx (American Eagle)
Vest: Garage sale
Jeggings: Kohl’s (Elle)
Flats: The Shoe Department
Owl Pin: Garage sale
Today’s inspiration was mostly me simply wanting to be comfortable and casual. This vest is great; I love the different textures the stitches create, especially on the shoulders where the cables are. (By the way, the collar isn’t supposed to pop up like that. It’s a windy day today. Whoops!)
I want to live in jeggings for the rest of my life. Even the really cheap pairs like the ones I bought from Old Navy and Kohl’s are soft, stretchy, and comfortable, and they work so well with flats and boots. I added the owl pin I recently bought at a garage sale this past summer for a little eccentricity.
Also, yesterday I had the chance to interview Jessica from What I Wore over the phone for an article I’m writing for one of my classes. Be sure to check out her blog here, and thanks, Jessica, for allowing me to interview you!
Have a wonderful weekend!
