A winter storm warning for basically all of the Midwest means that pictures will be taken inside. Being hit in the face with a million ice BB’s also means that pictures will be taken inside, safe from harm. I could even feel them hitting me through my jeans, and walking around is like walking through sand made of ice pellets. It’s actually pretty cool. Here’s the breakdown:
Jeans: Garage sale (H&M)
Boots: Famous Footwear
On my way back to school, I dragged my mom and dad along to Goodwill before I headed back, and this cute leopard blazer was one of my finds. I also bought a gingham shirt, originally from Gap.
During J-term, a lot of students spend their month studying abroad or doing missions trips. Most of the girls on my wing were gone, including my roommate, and a few girls left halfway through the month for Turkey. My friend, Sarah, got me these beautiful earrings. I love the Eastern look to them. Thanks, Sarah!
We’re under a winter storm warning until tonight at 7, and all of our classes were cancelled today (which has happened twice in the past 20 years). That means today is going to be a reading day for me; I have quite a chunk of reading I need to get done within two weeks or so. Wish me luck, and if you’re affected by this storm, be safe!
