We went from having 70-degree weather yesterday to a high of 48 degrees today. My body had a bit of a shock as I walked (actually ran) to breakfast, so I knew I needed to change into a warm, cozy sweater for the rest of the day. Am I ever glad I did. Here’s the breakdown:
Sweater: Garage sale (Ann Taylor LOFT)
Earrings: Garage sale
Necklaces: American Eagle
I’m not exactly crazy about this outfit, but the whole point of today was to try to stay warm and adjust to the much cooler temperatures. I bought this faux wrap sweater at a garage sale this summer, and it did its job well. I was pretty warm during a soccer game (along with a leather jacket), and my over-the-knee boots also kept me from freezing. They are my new favorite boots, and I’m pretty sure I would wear them every single day if I could. They make ordinary outfits a little more special.
I might get a good chance to wear the boots this weekend because I have a bachelorette and birthday party to attend. Busy, busy weekend, but I’m sure it’ll be great. Have a good weekend, everybody!
