Before you accuse me of a crime, all you need to know is that I was inspired, which led me to copy someone else’s work. I guess you could say I committed a crime … of fashion, that is. But the good kind of crime - not the ugg-wearing, terry cloth sweatpant with fake rhinestone on my butt kind of crime. I played copycat with this look here (thanks, Kendi!). Here’s the breakdown:
Loafers: Goodwill (Enzo Angiolini)
Bag: Brahmin (c/o Vogue)
Necklace: Elder Beerman
Sunnies: Forever 21
Ring: Charming Charlie
Lip Color: Estee Lauder Pure Color in Melon
You guys don’t know this, but I have basically been wearing this vest every weekend, and I refuse to take it off. I guess that means it was a good purchase, right? I added my (new to me) leopard loafers that I bought a few weeks ago at Goodwill, just to bring some print to the look. And you know me - a pop of color in every outfit (this time in the form of a necklace and lipstick), and I’m good to go!
I would wear this outfit every day if I could, but that would probably mean not washing the clothes … in which case me wearing the outfit would really be a crime, wouldn’t it? Nobody likes stinky clothes.
