Daily: Star-Spangled Print Mix

I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July! I spent it with family. My dad smoked some chicken, and we had my grandparents over. It was just a relaxing holiday weekend, so I’m ready to go for the crazy upcoming week. Here’s the breakdown:

Blouse: TJ Maxx (American Eagle)
Camisole: Gap
Shorts: Garage sale (Ann Taylor LOFT)
Belt: Old Navy
Necklace: Elder Beerman
Sandals: Target

I decided to do a safe version of the summer trend, mixing prints. Some stripes, some dots. Now, if you wanted to go all out, make the prints a little bolder, or maybe add a flower print in the mix. But that will have to be another post. Also, I decided not to be too in-your-face about Independence day, which is why I added the brown, neutral accents like the belt, the sandals, and the shorts.

I get to work at a flea market this week. I love flea markets! Hopefully I can save the money I make, rather than spending it there. I guess we’ll just have to see if I can find a good deal.

How was your Fourth of July?
