Some things just come easily to people. For instance, basketball does not come easy to me, probably because I’m not 6-feet 5-inches tall. Drawing, painting, sculpting, etc., do not come easy to me, probably because I’m left-brained and can barely draw a straight line, let alone a beautiful work of art. Here’s the breakdown:
Dress: Elle (Kohl’s)
Heels: DSW (Calvin Klein)
Bag: Garage sale
Watch: Garage sale
One thing that does come easy to me (on most days) is getting dressed, and this dress was one of those easy pieces … even though I haven’t worn it before. It still had the $6 price tag on it. I had some reservations about where I could wear it (and what I could wear under it), though, mostly because of the back being almost all lace. As it turns out, though, it’s one of the easiest dresses I own, not only fit-wise, but also styling-wise. I added a few ladylike accessories (the Mary-Jane heels and the quilted bag) with some tough, studded and safety-pin bracelets.
