I was always under the impression that eye creams were for more mature skin and that moisturizer was moisturizer. Anybody with me? Little did I know that the moisturizer you use under your eyes can determine how well your concealer looks the next day. I’ve tried my fair share of eye creams, and Mario Badescu’s Glycolic Eye Cream is hands down my favorite. Not only do you get a giant pot of it (that will take at least a year for you to make it through), but it’s also only $20. A steal of a deal. The whole Mario Badescu line is stellar and fairly affordable.
I deal with a little bit of dryness and millia (those minuscule white bumps) under my eyes, and usually my undereye concealer looks a little cakey. I started using this about a month ago, and I don’t know if it’s the glycolic acid in it or the vitamin E, but my undereye area has been much smoother. Even my concealer manages to look relatively smooth, which is no easy fete. The end result is soft and moisturized without feeling greasy or oily. Game-changer, indeed!
