Hi.

I'm Caitlin Wilson, a twenty-something midwesterner with a penchant for neutrals, donuts, and makeup. Thanks for reading!

Daily: Gone fishing

My Thanksgiving break was wonderful, but now the time has come to return back to these last 2.5 weeks of the semester. My break was spent primarily with family, simply relaxing, having good conversations and eating non-cafeteria food. My favorite? My mom’s pecan pie … and I don’t even like pecans. That should tell you how delectable it was. Here’s the breakdown:

Sweater: Goodwill
Turtleneck: Gap
Jeans: Elle via Kohl’s
Duck Boots: Salvation Army
Bag: The Sak via Goodwill
Earrings: Gift

While I did participate in “regular” Black Friday shopping madness (read: getting up at 4:30 a.m. instead of going shopping at midnight), I did a little thrifting, as well. Nothing like some Goodwill hunting to start off the holiday season, right? I was pretty pleased when I pulled out this fisherman-style sweater from the rack; I’d be keeping an eye out for one in stores. The sweater makes a British-inspired, countryside pair with my duck boots and this rainy weather we’ve been having. I’d like to order some snow, please!
