How to make your own tinted moisturizer

Illuminizer | Moisturizer | Sunscreen | Foundation | Argan Oil

On weekends when I don’t feel like spending a ton of time on my makeup, I like to mix a little magic and make my own tinted moisturizer. I find that most tinted moisturizers are too dark or are a weird formula for my skin. When I make my own tinted moisturizer, I find it’s the perfect formula and doubles as my foundation — essentially skipping a step of my makeup routine.

The base of my tinted moisturizer is mostly my lightweight day lotion and dermatologist-recommended sunscreen. Then I add a little bit of highlighter, argan oil and foundation. I use a foundation that I’m either a) almost out of or b) not a fan of after a few weeks of testing it. After I wash my face in the morning, I use my tinted moisturizer mix and hit two birds with one stone: moisturizer and foundation!
