Hi.

I'm Caitlin Wilson, a twenty-something midwesterner with a penchant for neutrals, donuts, and makeup. Thanks for reading!

I hope you guys enjoyed yesterday’s DIY post! I had a ton of fun trying out my new BeDazzler. The only problem now is that I have the urge to BeDazzle everything, which is probably why the blinged-out trend became an out-of-control phenomenon during my childhood. I’ve told myself I need to wait at least two days before deciding if I really want to BeDazzle another clothing item. Here’s the breakdown:

Blouse: Gap via Goodwill (sleeveless military blouse here)
Skirt: Vera Wang via Kohl’s
Flats: DIY’d Sam & Libby
Sunnies: Gift
Necklace: Gift
Watch: Garage sale
Bracelets: Forever 21/Urban Outfitters (similar bow cuff here and zebra cuff here)
Rings: Forever 21

I’m not much of an aviators gal. I feel like they mimic my face shape too much to look good on me, so I’ve never shelled out money for them. But when my friend Anna had them in her give-to-Goodwill pile, I picked them up and thought I’d give them a try. They seem only appropriate when paired with a military-inspired blouse and gold hardware.
