So this weekend, my roommate had to do research at a larger university’s library, so I tagged along for moral support. And retail therapy. My shopping list included: lace, maxi dress/skirt, leopard vest/jacket, prairie boots, and city shorts. I checked out the local Goodwill but didn’t find anything worth spending money on. Luckily Macy’s came to the rescue! Here’s the breakdown:
Lace Shirt: Macy’s
Skirt: Old Navy
Heels: TJ Maxx (Steve Madden)
Necklaces: American Eagle
Bag: Garage sale
I found this lovely and gorgeous 2-piece shirt at Macy’s for, like, 90% off. It was so pretty, and it has this awesome zipper running down the back for a little edge. I think it’s brilliant. I’m imagining all the things I want to pair it with, and luckily, the inner shell is removable. I’m thinking something olive and military-inspired next.
Honestly, I walked around all day feeling amazing, confident, and feminine. Maybe lace is my new obsession. I felt so special all day wearing this, even when I changed into jeggings and flats in the afternoon for studying and chilling out.
Can I hear an amen for the cooler weather this week (think 50’s and 40’s)?
