My job allows me to work from home, which can be both a blessing and a curse. I miss having a legitimate reason to dress up each day for the office, but I relish having the freedom to wear whatever I want (which, for me, means being able to wear jeans rather than dresses every day). I try to get out of the house each day, particularly in the afternoons to head to a coffee shop — and usually by that point in the day I have enough cups of coffee in my system to think clearly about what I want to wear. But in the mornings, I’m usually in loungewear putting in a few hours of work.

If there’s one thing I’ve come to appreciate in my experience as a work-from-home employee, it’s cute loungewear. I have many, many college T-shirts and sweatshirts, but I’m amazed at how much more productive and excited I am to work when I’m wearing something that feels like I’ve put even a touch of effort into it. That’s why I love the above loungewear: comfortable, casual yet still chic. Where do you shop for cute loungewear?

(P.S. Old Navy has some great affordable options, as well!)
