I honestly don’t think I can describe how much I love fall. We have some beautiful trees on campus that are exploding with color. Brilliant, red bushes line the library, and I’m dying to take pictures there after fall break. Hopefully the color won’t be gone by then. The fall colors don’t seem to last as long as I want them to. Here’s the breakdown:
Sweater: Garage sale (Banana Republic)
Jeans: Old Navy
Kitten Heels: Kohl’s
The raspberry color of my sweater is just delicious. That’s the only way I can describe it. It is such a flattering color, and considering it was less than a dollar at a garage sale this summer, I’d say it was a heck of deal (it’s part cashmere). I love the necklace I bought from Gap about a year ago and the juxtaposition of the braid and the chains. Brilliant.
This is the metallic brown pair of kitten heels, much like my black ones from a post a little over a week ago. I cannot get over how practical these things are. I usually don’t wear heels to class unless I’m giving a presentation, otherwise my feet would kill me 24/7. But these kitten heels make me feel like I’m wearing heels and they give the illusion of heels. And, of course, the click-clack of the heel always makes me feel confident. It must be a woman thing.
By the way, if you’re looking for good jeans at a great price, head over to Old Navy. They have everything from bootcut to jeggings, and while they certainly won’t last you years and years, they’re great short-term investments.
