Do you remember your first videos? The ones you owned? Do you even remember what videos are? (Hint: they’re like giant cassette tapes. You don’t know what those are, either?) My first videos were probably Disney…or Barney. We were PBS kids growing up. But this first video is not like other first videos. Here’s the breakdown:
Leather Jacket: Elder Beerman
Striped Sweater: Banana Republic
Jeans: TJ Maxx (American Eagle)
Boots: Goodwill (Talbots)
Ring: American Eagle
My outfit was based all around my new Banana Republic sweater. With spring coming ever-so-slowly to the area, I’ve been dying to incorporate some of spring into my outfits…with winter pieces. This sweater is cotton, which is great because it’s slightly lighter weight than the other sweaters in my closet.
I really wanted to build off of the stripes and keep the nautical/French/classic theme going. Red scarf? Check. Classic trouser jeans? Check. Little pops of white and gold with the jewelry? Check. I have a feeling this nautical/French/classic theme I’ve had going the past few weeks is only going to intensify with the coming spring. And I’m okay with that.
So, in other news, I’ve made a video for you! This is my first one…hence the title of this post. I want to do this once a week (maybe more if I have more time and/or if I get better at it). But it’s just a short clip, a little longer than a minute. Check it out (below), and let me know what you think! Also, head on over to Employed Panache’s blog. She featured me on her Photo Job Shadow segment. Thanks, Nicole!
