Hi.

Daily: Olive the Others

I love safari-inspired neutrals in the summertime. Olive, khaki, beige…I love it all. The safari trend is also going to be easy to transition into fall this year, which is great for a money-saving college student like me! Here’s the breakdown:

Tee: Gap
Camisole: Gap
Shorts: TJ Maxx (American Eagle)
Sandals: Target
Purse: Garage sale (Fossil)
Necklace: Gift
Bracelets: Garage sale/my grandma’s
Sunglasses: TJ Maxx (Steve Madden)

I was so tempted to wear jeans today as it is a relatively cool day outside, but I have to remind myself that I’ll get to wear jeans and pants from mid-September through mid-March. I just bought a new pair of boyfriend jeans, and I really want to wear them. I guess I’ll hold off, though.

All of my bracelets I bought at garage sales of elderly people or I got it from my grandma. I love that vintage jewelry is easy to work into outfits no matter what your age is or what the age of the jewelry is. Also, my leather Fossil bag was a dollar. You can’t beat that. The newest it-bags all seem to have longer straps, especially saddle bags; longer-strapped bags always seem to add a bit of eccentricity and something unusual to a look.

I finished my hat, too! Check it out.
