My grandparents own a local hardware and lumber company, and I worked there for over two years, which explains this post. Some of the customers I helped in the store had ingenius ideas for even the smallest of tasks, like building a frame out of PVC pipe and then spray-painting it. I guess it rubbed off a little bit because a couple of years ago, I desperately needed a way to keep my necklaces from getting tangled.
All I did was screw eyescrews into my wall and hung my necklaces on them. Now I can actually see them, which is nice if you’re like me and sometimes forget what you have. It was inexpensive project; these hooks cost less than 30 cents each.
At school, I had to figure out a different way to keep my necklaces organized. Hooks aren’t a good idea unless you want to pay a major fine for putting holes in the wall. I use a tie-and-belt hanger at school and hang it on the hook inside my closet. It takes up little space and, once again, all of my necklaces are visible.
