Subtle simplicity

Spring break has finally come (as of noon today), and after seven hard weeks of lots of homework and newspaper work, I am more than ready for a break. While I certainly have my fair share of homework to do, I am looking forward to spending time with family and friends and going to Chicago for a few days. Here’s the breakdown:

Blazer: Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s
T: Borrowed
Denim: Elle via Kohl’s
Heels: Target
Scarf: LOFT
Earrings: Gift

Everything about this outfit — from the colors to the minimal accessories and the soft print — says simplicity. I blame in on the blazer; it just begs to be worn with muted colors and subtle accessories. It’s quite a change from my usual choice of clothes, but I think that’s why I find myself wanting to wear this blazer every day.

Have a wonderful weekend!
