Summertime is sweet to me when it’s 65 degrees in the morning and only reaches 85 in the afternoon, like today! Save that 90-100-degree weather for Florida, Arizona, and Texas. My parents actually used to live near Dallas, so I’ve heard many a story about the heat down there. They said that during the summer, you practically made a run from your car to the building so as to get to the air conditioning as quickly as possible. I’m thankful for this mild break in weather here in Indiana. Here’s the breakdown:
Tee: Garage sale (American Eagle)
Shorts: Garage sale (Bongo)
Scarf: Garage sale (American Eagle)
Bracelet: American Eagle
Most of my summer attire consists of shorts, more shorts, and a few breezy skirts and sundresses. Anything to stay cool. I found this scarf at a garage sale last week for 75 cents; both the color and the polka dots on it seem friendly, a perfect addition to my wardrobe (and growing scarf collection) for spring and summer. Scarves are hard to wear in the summer, though, because it’s usually way too hot.
What do you think of scarves in the summer: to wear or not to wear?
