You know how there’s that one thing that seems of-the-moment (at least to style bloggers)? Like Celine’s leather clutches, made accessible to the masses by American Apparel and their version. To me, this dress is that one thing that was of-the-moment a few months ago that I loved but was too much for my college budget to handle…until I found it brand new at Goodwill. Here’s the breakdown:
Dress: Goodwill (Tucker for Target)
Sandals: Old Navy
Ring: Charming Charlie
I was so excited to find this Tucker for Target dress at Goodwill, but unfortunately, the belt was missing and it was a size too big. To fix these two problems, I used a belt to create a waist on what would be an otherwise shapeless dress, and I pulled the green out of the dress by pairing it with a blazer to tame the print and the poofy sleeves.
I wore this to my younger brother’s graduation open house on Saturday. We were having so much fun chatting with people and celebrating with my brother that by the time we had everything cleaned up, time had slipped away and it was too dark outside to take photos out there - hence the inside photos. However, it was well worth it to celebrate my brother’s graduation. Congrats, Matt!
