Daily: Thinking Positive

For the record, I would like to state that the only homework I have for the rest of January will be finished this afternoon. Oh, yes. Currently, we’re in J-term, which means I’m taking only one class until January 26 (aka Wednesday). Then I’ll go home for the break between J-term and spring semester, and then my roommate will be back from London! Can you tell from my excitement that I’m counting down the days? Here’s the breakdown:

Tee: Garage sale
Skirt: Goodwill (JCrew)
Tights: Kohl’s
Boots: Macy’s
Necklace: Garage sale
Bag: Salvation Army (Tignanello)

There is something so gorgeous about mustard yellow and teal together. A cranberry color would be beautiful with these colors, as well. I didn’t really start playing with color palettes like this until last year, and I’m so glad I finally did! They remind me a lot of Kendi, who wears these colors it seems every day. I love it.

I haven’t worn this necklace in awhile, and I almost pulled it out a few days ago. And, as usual, I really wanted to wear my new boots or at least heels today, but because the sidewalks and parking lots are still so icy (even though it doesn’t look like it in the pictures), I didn’t want to risk breaking my ankle. So I stuck with my over-the-knee boots today. I just figure waiting will make actually wearing my new booties even sweeter. Thinking positive here.
