Daily: Vintage

Vintage can be hard, especially when most vintage and thrift stores are filled with gigantic shoulder pads, stuffy necklines, cheap costume jewelry and pastel colors that only your grandma would wear. However, every once in awhile, I find a gem that is what vintage is all about: classic, sophisticated and always in style. Here’s the breakdown:

Blazer: Goodwill (Gap)
Dress: Salvation Army
T-Strap Heels: Goodwill (Franco Sarto)
Clutch: Salvation Army
Ring: Charming Charlie
Bracelets: Garage sale

This dress is one of the rare gems I happened to find during a recent Salvation Army trip. I love the demure fit of the line and the hemline. The lace makes the dress for me, though. It adds a little bit of unexpectedness to the dress, which is why I thought it would make the perfect transition into an evening look for the remix. To make it office-appropriate, though, I added a light red blazer.
