Don’t look at me like I’m crazy! When I woke up this morning, it was in the 40’s and it was raining. Then it became sleet and eventually snow. Remember that warm weather we had just last week? It’s long gone. Also, my rain boots have a hole in them, which I found out while walking through a puddle on my way to class. Boo. Here’s the breakdown:
Plaid Cardigan: Elder Beerman
Sequin Cami: Borrowed from roommate (Ann Taylor LOFT)
Lace Shorts: Charlotte Russe
Rain Boots: Meijer
Bracelets: American Eagle
Ring: Gift (from Turkey)
I had this urge to wear shorts today, and I thought what better shorts than cute, lacy ones? Probably not one of the best urges I’ve had in my life, considering that I was freezing cold. After yesterday’s lace shirt, I wanted to continue my experiments of texture and pattern mixing, hence the lace, sequins, and plaid mix. I kind of like it. I can’t wait until it’s warmer; I’m planning on mixing prints like crazy (stripes/polka dots, stripes/stripes).
Also, a shout-out to my friend, Meghan, who bought this beautiful ring for me on her trip to Turkey during January! I love it!
