The worst part of spring is Daylight Savings Time. Who seriously wants to “spring forward” an hour and lose an hour of sleep? The only good part of springing forward is the “falling back,” a favorite among college students. Just be prepared, my friends, to see a tired face in all of this week’s posts. But next week is my spring break, and I plan on posting every day! I can’t wait to take you all with me on my spring break. Here’s the breakdown:
Leather Jacket: Elder Beerman
Blouse: Goodwill (Nine West)
Skirt: TJ Maxx (The Limited)
Booties: Jessica Simpson (Macy’s)
My blouse was one of those accidental finds that I bought at Goodwill during my Indy trip a little over a week ago. I actually remember seeing this blouse in TJ Maxx last year and thinking it was so cute, so when I saw the print at Goodwill, I instantly picked it up. My size? Check. Half price? Check. Completely wearable? Check.
I must say that pencil skirts are probably my favorite skirts. They are so versatile. Add a blazer, and you’ve got a faux suit. Add a sparkly tee and a belt, and you’ve got the perfect date outfit. I always feel so confident whenever I wear a pencil skirt, which is probably why my closet is stocked with them. I need to wear them more…maybe this summer during my internship and in a little over a year when I graduate.
Have a wonderful first day of the week! My brain will still be attempting to adjust to Daylight Savings Time. I just got too used to waking up to sunshine; now when I wake up, it’s dark.
